UniSpice

Generating Value

Message from CEO

It goes without saying that 2020 took us all by surprise. Panic, fear and, above all, uncertainty seized the entire world. In the last 30 years, UniSpice has lived through several global crises but has never fallen pray to any of them because, as a team, we have lived our values, including that of “continuous growth”.

Our priority is our people. As soon as the pandemic started, we immediately took steps that allowed us to continue operating without putting anyone at risk, setting a new standard for the industry. We were invited to participate in an international forum of different institutions similar to ours, to present our case as a success story.
Always turning to our four values has allowed us to navigate and excel during these global situations. Knowing that it was essential to continue operating in order to protect our employees, clients, and suppliers and their families.
We are one of the most important sources of employment in all the areas where we work; we support all the communities and their most vulnerable institutions.

Working together with institutions, service providers, suppliers of goods, clients, banking institutions and many others in 2020, we did not only experience the pandemic, but also two category five hurricanes, something never seen in Guatemala. Nothing stopped us, not the hurricanes, not the pandemic, not the political unrest.

I am tremendously lucky and grateful to have the bravest, most committed team, and above all a team who is focused on their life mission.

Today we tell the world that UniSpice grows and makes everyone around them grow now more than ever.
