Passing BRCGS AA+ audits with flying colors

Something our entire team is proud of is passing the BRCGS AA+ unannounced audits. This is something we’ve been doing for over 15 years, attaining the highest qualifications. This is a reflection beyond our standards; it is about the culture we’ve created and the way we do things.

This audit goes beyond the basics, it includes ethics, integrity, legality, food safety, and quality. It not only focuses on the environmental aspect but also dives into the social impact. We are extremely proud of our team for achieving this because it reflects how we are all doing things the right way and are truly committed to providing food for today and tomorrow.

We’ve achieved the highest possible rating in the BRCGS Global Food Safety Standard unannounced audit. For us, food safety is not just about certifications and regulations, it is the way we do things. Our number one commitment is to set our standards when it comes to quality, food safety, and regenerative and sustainable practices to deliver the highest quality products to our customers.

Regarding food safety, this audit considers the development of a culture of product safety based on analysis and critical control, quality, and environmental practices. These elements are not new to Unispice, since they are a key part of how we do things under the Born standards.

This audit also examines the standard of packaging, making sure all materials are analyzed to assess anything that puts food safety at risk, quality management, and the implementation of good manufacturing practices. Focusing on distribution and retail, BRCGS also considers quality, hygiene, and product safety for complete transparency.
Regarding personnel, any business needs to be committed to developing a competent team and assessing risks to ensure everything is safe and legal before production even begins.
Knowing that our practices are aligned not only with standards but with our vision gives us the confidence that we’ll excel in any unannounced audit. And the result is the reflection of our food safety practices that not only care for our consumers but also the environment.
